“ Hidden gem in Eco Bonatic especially if you like Si Chuan food. This restaurant was closed for almost 2 years and now that they reopened, the food tasted better than before. My personal favourites are their "Ma Po To Fu" 麻婆豆腐 and cabbage 手撕包菜。"Salted vegetable fish" 酸菜鱼 is pretty nice too and they are one of the few places around here with Qing Dao Beer 青岛啤酒. “ We had dinner at 中国味道 (Delicious China) located at Jalan Eco Botani, Iskandar Puteri, and were pleasantly surprised by both the food and the service. We came looking for a solid Chinese meal, and the restaurant definitely delivered. We ordered a generous spread: Sauerkraut Fish, Sweet Vinegar Pork, Stir-Fried Broccoli, Dried Chilli Chicken Cubes, Stir-Fried Pork Belly with Green Chilli, and Braised Sea Cucumber. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The Sauerkraut Fish came in a spicy, tangy broth that was both comforting and addictive. The Sweet Vinegar Pork had a lovely crispy texture and a perfectly balanced sauce. The Dried Chilli Chicken had that signature mala kick we enjoyed, and the Stir-Fried Pork Belly was aromatic and tender. The Braised Sea Cucumber was delicate, and even the simple Broccoli dish was fresh and crisp. What stood out beyond the food was the hospitality of the staff. One of the team members personally took the time to show me the private dining rooms upstairs, which I thought was a nice touch and perfect for group gatherings or celebrations. Service overall was accommodating and attentive, and they made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. That said, we did find the prices a little steeper than average for similar restaurants in the area—but given the quality of food and the excellent service, we still felt it was worth the splurge. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a more premium Chinese dining experience in Johor. ”
